LCC has a variety of ministries that anyone in our church can be part of. We strive to make sure everyone is plugged in and connected to our Christ-centered community, facilitate in forming deep friendships with one another, and providing opportunities for people to serve with the talents that God has given them.

Sunday Mornings
Worship Ministry – Our worship ministry vocalists and musicians lead our congregation in worshipping God through song and music. Our tech team volunteers operate all the audio and visual equipment for our worship services, and also broadcast our services on YouTube and on the Telus Optik TV platform for our growing online and TV congregation. We have four worship & tech teams that rotate on a weekly basis. All are welcome to volunteer, regardless of skill level!
Directors – Directors are the glue of the Sunday service. Led by Matt Dang, they coordinate the Sunday service team, lead prayers, gather, and present announcements during our worship service.
Ushers – Our ushers welcome everyone who walks through our doors. We make sure you feel welcome and comfortable at our church, whether you are visiting LCC or if you have been part of our church family for years.
Nursery & Children’s Church – We provide discipleship and teachings for our elementary-school aged children and guests. For our very young church members, we provide childcare during the Sunday sermon, teaching them Bible stories and interacting with them.
Small Groups
Couple’s Group – We have two couples groups, facilitated by Pastor David Cay. It’s a place where couples can enjoy each other’s friendship and mutual support as we try to apply the Bible to our family life.
Women’s Group – Our Women’s Group is lead by our Women’s Ministry deacon, Rebecca Nguyen. We study the Bible, chat, and hang out.
Book Clubs – Pastors David Cay and Tim Nguyen lead several book clubs in our church. We have deep discussions about super interesting books we read together, and develop deep friendships.
Fellowships
Kids’ Club – Led by our Kids Club Coordinator, Melissa Hong, Kids’ Club provides a great mix of fun and super deep teaching for kids aged 5 to 11. Highly recommended. We meet every Friday night at the top floor of church from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Zoe – Our youth group ministry is led by Pastor Tim Nguyen. We get really practical about the Christian life, and we make great friends along the way.
Support Ministries
The LCC Board – We provide leadership, short and long-term planning, financing, and troubleshooting for our entire church and all our ministries.
Media and Website Outreach – We engage our growing online audience through our website and social media channels, and use our platforms to share the gospel and promote our church to our immediate community and the wider Calgary region.
Pastoral Care and Counseling – Our pastoral team meets one-on-one with individuals in our church community to talk about life, and to guide them through difficult times.
